President’s Day

This isn’t a President’s Day that we celebrate each year but one that Weston’s awesome teacher had.   His class has spent the last few months studying and doing oral reports on American Presidents.  I am amazed that in Kindergarten he is doing oral presentations on presidents!  And he is doing an awesome job!  Wes did his report on Calvin Coolidge and learned all kinds of fun facts (that he will more than happily volunteer at any given time.)  Ms. Carol had a presidents luncheon where the kids all dressed up as there favorite president and ate traditional early american food, used proper manners, and where each paired up with a “first lady”.  It was so darling watching these little kids get so into character and use proper manners.  They had to cut there cucumber sandwiches with a fork and knife, pull out there ladies chair, and use correct utensils.  The cutest thing of course was watching Wes be so adorable with his first lady.  He was so proud to have a girl on his arm and of course was the cutest President in his class.   Check out the picture of the girls that dressed up like Jackie O and of George Washington picking his nose…..sorry Tessa :(
