When I realized how much money I was spending on less that impressive products for Lucy I thought I had better figure out a better way. All of our handmade baby products are hand sewn (even the bows) to ensure the highest quality and comfort. I also make custom dresses and skirts. I have had alot of success doing home parties and just launched our website this morning. Check out the website LuLuBugDesigns.com and help me spread the word!

Cowboy Party

This weekend we went to a cowboy party for a friends little boys birthday. It was a true fiesta and tons of fun. The kids were super excited to get dressed up and asked me to draw mustaches on them. After I was done with Jamers he climbed on Tay's lap and said "okay Daddy's turn!" Although Tay didn't end up with a 'stache that day they boys rocked them!

The new house

We are building our FINAL house. We are so excited and surprised by how painless and efficiant the process has been this time around. We are staying the same devolpment as we are currently in because we love it so much. Here are some pics of the new digs and its devolpment.

Stuffington Bear Factory

Here is Phoenix there is one of three teddy bear factorys in the US. You can go on a tour and for $13 your kids can make a cute teddy bear (build a bear style). We went this past week and it was a ton of fun. A bunch of the kids little friends went which made it all the better. We brought Kallie with us too. When the kids walked in they were in awe of all the HUGE stuffed animals all around. They enjoyed playing on them before the tour started.
The tour guide took us through the factory which was way less high tech than I thought it would be. Wes and Kallie were adorable acting like a little married couple guiding each other on the tour. Wes informed me during the tour that his favorite color was chartruse (sp?) and asked if they had any chartruse bears.
At the end of the tour the kids got to pick there bears body. Jamers was not so into this process so I had to make his bear for him. Of course Kallie picked the purple bear. They gave each kid a wishing star to make a wish on and then put into there bear. I asked the kids what there wishes were and Weston was "to make Jesus happy." Kallie panicked when she realized she forgot to wish on her star.

Next they went to big stuffing machine and got to step on the pedal to stuff there bears. It made a really loud noise that sent jamers running the other direction. Lucy (by the way) sat in her stoller like an angel the whole time.

After theh bear was stuffed the factory workers sewed them shut.

Finally the kids got to take the bears to this bathtub that squirted air out to get all the fuzzy residue off the bears.

The kids dressed there bears up. Wes got a spiderman outfit for his, kallie got a pink dress for hers, and Jamers picked out a dinosaur outfit for his. Always the creative ones Wes named his bear Spiderman Bear, Kallie named hers Kallie, and James named his Bear. It wa fun end to the summer since school starts in one week!!

Wet N Wild

We just had a new water park go up right by our house. We of course got season passes and have been a numebr of times since it opened. The kids love it and there is something for each of them. Even litttle Lucy loves splashing around in the wave pool. We go at least once a week and sometimes Tay and I even go on date night. Here are some pics from our recent trips.

Weston LOVES the water and is a little daredevil. He is just tall enough to ride the really big waterslides. When we go with all the kids Wes gets the shaft and can't go on the big rides. He never complains and just goes on the little slides and the wave pool with us. He is such a good big brother and I thought it would be nice to reward his good behavior. We decided that Wes and I would go on a Mommy and son date to Wet N Wild so he could go on all the things he wanted to go on. It was a blast!!! We went on a ton of huge slides and spent some quality time. It is so good to spend one on one time with him. Here is our After picture.

Here is the scariest slide that Wes picked to go on. It was seriously scary adn I thought I was going to fall off.

Here is our before pic. Isn't my baby cute?
