Our Little Lucy Rose

Lucy Rose Proudfit was born on January 19th weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long. It was an awesome and completely painless labor ( I won't go into unwanted details about that). I only had to push three times and our little angel was here. We have wanted a little girl so badly and we feel completely blessed that she is here. As you can see she has a ton of almost black hair and darker skin than both the other boys. The boys love her so much and have been so sweet to her. Weston especially loves his "little sis" as he calls her. It has been a little bit of a hard recovery and a serious adjustment having three-- We're out numbered now and we are definately feeling it. Lucy is such a joy and it such a great baby. She is awesome.

Baby is on the way!

I am finally in the final days of pregnancy and I can't wait to have the baby, although the prospect of labor isn't all that enticing. We have been crazy busy! We had an awesome Christmas and New Year's with family and the beautiful weather here. The kids really were so cute this year and Jamers really got the whole Santa thing which was neat. Now that we are done with the holidays we are busy packing up and moving again! We found a new house in the area we want to live in closer to family and we are moving this week. Not an easy task being so close to having the baby. We are excited to get in and settled in the new house and then welcome little Lucy Rose. The boys are really excited to have the baby come and in fact Weston has been very curious about how the doctor gets the baby out of me. We told him a mild form of the truth since he was thinking that they cut the baby out of me. He took the info we gave him and pondered it and then asked if my "tutti" broke when the baby came out- I told him it did a little but the doctor would fix it for me. Then on Sunday ( during sacrament meeting of course) declared loudly- " Mom the the doctor is going to put his hands in your tutti!?!?!?!?" I believe in being as honest as I can be with the boys about most things but it sometimes seems to backfire on me. We will keep you updated on the new house and the baby.
