Conversation with Darling Weston

The other day me and Weston were having a conversation about having another baby. ( no I am not making an annoucement- we were looking at newborn pics of Wes.) The conversation went like this:

Me- Weston would you like it if mommy had another baby?
Wes- What are you talking about?!?!
Me- how about mommy's belly get real big and we have another baby?
Wes- you can't mom
Me- Why?
Wes- babies bleed too much and they are always hurt! ( i think he was refering to the goopey newborn pics we were looking at.)
Me- babies don't bleed too much Wes.
Wes - ( pondering that ) mommy you already have one baby.
Me- I do?
Wes - Yes mommy, Jamers and you can only one baby.
Me- how about we have another baby?
Wes-No mommy you can only have one baby - okaaaaayyyyyy? ( talking to me that way that I always talk to him when I am telling him he can only have one cookie or something)
Me-Don't you want a little brother orsister??
Wes- No way!

About four hours later he came up to me and Taylor and said " mom, it's okay to have a baby oookkkaaaayyyy?" Taylor looked at me with look of disbelief at the conversation me an wes had. Now we all know Wes is okay with more babies -- even if they do bleed to much.

Fun Quiz

Take this test!
So you may not be busy raising 12 kids like Kate Baker, but you certainly know how to roll with the punches like she does. You both love to laugh, and you hold tight to the belief that a hearty chuckle is good for your family's health. You know that maintaining your sense of humor through the ups and downs of parenthood will help you and your kids see the bright side in any situation.

Even with your penchant for gaffs, laughs, a little sarcasm, and all-around goofiness, you certainly know when it's time to take things seriously. Like your movie mom match, you never lose sight of the big picture or what's most important — your family. And that's no laughing matter.

We took a great trip to the zoo on Saturday. We have the greatest zoo I have ever seen! The boys LOVED it -- even though James was asleep for a good part of the day. They have the coolest habitats for the animals and a really great kids farm section with a petting zoo. Here are some pics from the day. If you're ever in town check it out for sure!

Weston and Tay at the end of the day- notice Taylor's tired face.

I loved this sign above the petting zoo -- I mean what kind of sheep or goat would enjoy the a bunch of little kids attacking them?!?!?!

I don't have a great camera -- the animals are really close and in really open habitats.
