Fun in the Snow

Here in Utah we have had tons and tons of snow in the past week. It has taken us until this morning to finally clear out all the snow out of our driveway! We unfortunately have the house that all the snow drifts to- which resulted in about three feet of snow in our driveway. Poor Taylor had the task of shoveling-- I helped out, but really was no help. Weston is loving playing in the snow and is out there sledding down the huge snow mount we have from shoveling.

This morning when we were going out to finish the shoveling job Wes of course wanted to join us. So I got his all suited up and was looking for his gloves when he said- "wait mom I need my Tigger's!" I was confused so I asked him what he meant and he held up his hands with the mittens and said "my hands are like Tiggers!" I seriously have the funniest little boy around--he's a Disney boy for sure. If you don't know why Wes thinks his hands look like Tigger then you need to watch Tigger and Pooh on Playhouse Disney -- it's not a bad show-check it out.

Adventures with Weston

Weston is a very social boy and apparently a very smart one as well. Usually in the morning Weston wakes up, comes to my room and wakes me up and we watch some Playhouse Disney while I am getting ready. Last week I awoke not to Weston, but to our neighbor calling to let me know that Weston had arrived on her porch naked and barefoot ( with a foot of snow on the ground.) He wanted to play with Tiff's little boy Peyton! I was embarassed of course and also amazed he made the trek in the snow with no shoes on. Me and Tay decided we needed to be extra careful about locking and bolting all the doors and making sure the child locks are on. Fast foreward to this morning. Thank goodness I love Tiffany and we are good freinds otherwise this would have been even more embarrassing. Weston figured out how to open the child locks on the top of the door and made it over there again, once again naked and barefoot. Tiff brought him over and put him in my bed, mind you I was still sleeping. He is a too smart!!! I need some bars or something to keep him in. I think I will have to get up at like 6am and stand guard and make sure he deosn't wake up and take off. Gone are my days of sleeping in til Wes gets up. Hopefully one day he'll put his ingenuity to use!
